Refund policy

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If a failure is major, you choose a refund, replacement or repair. If it is minor, we may repair it within a reasonable time; if we can't, you can choose a replacement or refund. Any manufacturer's warranty is in addition to these rights and does not limit them.

Faulty or incorrectly supplied items

Contact us at sales@intechtools.com with your order number and a description (photos help). We'll arrange the return and, where the goods are faulty or we sent the wrong item, cover the reasonable cost of returning them. We'll repair, replace or refund in line with your rights above.

Warranty claims

  • All returns need a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) from us first; goods sent back without one can't be accepted.
  • Please include a copy of your invoice or order confirmation and pack the goods securely.
  • Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It doesn't cover damage from use outside the product instructions, lack of required maintenance, normal wear and tear, or parts and components not supplied by INTECH Tools.
  • If goods are returned as faulty and no fault is found, an administration fee of $25 + GST per item may apply.

Change of mind

We accept change-of-mind returns when all of these apply:

  • you contact us within 14 days of receiving the goods and get a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) before sending anything back
  • the goods are unused, undamaged, and in their original unopened packaging with no stickers or labels added
  • the item is not a special-order or non-stock item.

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is at your cost, and a 15% restocking fee applies. We refund the purchase price less the restocking fee to the original payment method once we receive and inspect the goods. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
